Employee Spotlight: A Team That Cares
Our team members are the heart of Cardinal Home Center. We’re grateful for their hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes. As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what we’re most grateful for. We’ve asked our team members to share what they’re thankful for this year, and their heartfelt responses touch us.
Question: What are you most thankful for this year, and is there a colleague or team member for whom you’re incredibly grateful? Why?
Tyrone Durrette in Crozet is thankful for family and health and shares that Anita Steppe has helped me become a better salesman.
Mike Richman in Staunton is thankful for good health and a great workplace and says Jeff Long is always ready to chip in and help with anything.
Alice Thomas in Staunton is thankful for the blessings of family and friends and appreciates everyone on our team, but Chad Groah stands out. Chad is very knowledgeable and always willing to assist.
Nikki Crum in Lake Anna is thankful that her family is healthy and happy:) She is also grateful for Allen Harlan, who helps whenever she has a question and can’t figure it out on my own!
Dianna Campagna in Charlottesville is thankful for the continued health, love, and support of her children and grandchildren and for the assistance she receives when the workload can be overwhelming.
Diana Stalnaker in Crozet is thankful for family, work, and community ties that love and support. It makes going through life so much sweeter!
Kelly Shiflett in Crozet is most thankful for the family’s good health and a great work atmosphere :) And is grateful for everyone’s contributions!
Alex Escobar Tejada in Crozet is thankful for vacation time, family, and good health and thanks the paint department in Crozet and Steve Smith for the sales.
Michael Freeman in Crozet is thankful for family, God’s provision through the year, and the LORD allowing me to serve Him through my church. He is grateful for Ted Wright, who is always ready and willing to help whenever he needs something delivered or a question answered.
Emma Wood in Lake Anna is thankful for her granddaughter, who was born four months premature and is doing fantastic. She also, without a doubt, names Anthony Burke, who has been above and beyond helpful. She truly believes that with his hard work and effort to assist her, she would have come this far with all her new duties and responsibilities. She will forever be grateful.
Sharon Iseli in Madison is most thankful for friendships and family within our Company and in her life.

Martha Wyant in Crozet is thankful to have her job at Cardinal Home Center after being let go earlier in the year from a company where he had worked for 24 years! She shares that everyone at Cardinal Home Center has been so kind and helpful. She is very grateful to Sarah Carpenter and Diana Stalnaker, who always support her.
Michele Lambertus in Madison is thankful for My new work family and the rest of my family members. She is grateful for Emmet Aylor, who is always available day, night, and weekends to help you and always thinking of ways to give back to the community.
Marcus Freeman in Madison is thankful for God’s goodness and shares that All the blessings he has in life are because of Him. He is grateful for Ted Wright and Michael Freeman, who he shares and are always there when he needs something.
