Sheathing plywood is best used in permanent structures. Although it is not made for appearance, it provides a strong and inexpensive foundation. Our stores carry a variety of OSB sheathing panels, CDX pine sheathing, wafer board, subfloor, and other selections to provide a solid foundation. Best used for framing walls, roofs, and panels, it should be covered by other materials as you finish up your project.

CDX Pine Sheathing

Thicknesses: 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″

CDX plywood rated sheathing features a stiff and strong quality construction. This plywood can be used in both residential and light commercial applications and is manufactured of southern yellow pine. One side is C-grade, and the other is D-grade. For use with work buildings, farm construction projects, and truck linings, among other uses.

Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a material with high mechanical properties particularly suitable for load-bearing applications in construction. OSB sheathing is manufactured by compressing layers of wood chips and adhesives and a viable alternative to plywood. This sheathing is engineered to prevent any cupping, warping, or splitting. Most commonly used for sheathing in walls, flooring, and roof decking.

3/4″ Tongue and Groove Sturd-I-Floor OSB Panel

The oriented strand board (OSB) subfloor features self-gapping tongue-and-groove edges, making installation straightforward. Each panel is designed to be strong, stiff, and stable.
