John Brockman Brings Craftsmanship to Cardinal
A few days ago, we sat down with one of our Madison salesmen, John Brockman. A valued member of our sales team for over two years, John is among the first faces to welcome you when you walk inside our Madison store.
While John is relatively new to Cardinal Home Center, he is certainly not new in the industry. He worked as a cabinet builder in Culpeper and later shifted to a 20-year career as an independent contractor. This extensive background serves John well when he offers well-rounded solutions for homeowners and contractors. “Whether it’s windows, doors, lumber, trim, or any other project that someone may have questions on, I can help advise and suggest materials to get that project accomplished,” he says.
John is always tinkering on small and more significant projects outside of work. He enjoys deer hunting, working with and repairing guns, and spending time with his family; John also mentioned he dabbles in metalworking and woodworking. We asked him what he recommended to someone who wanted to provide some quick updates to their master bedroom during these colder months. John told us the fastest way is by adding a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore paint and replacing some of the trim, or if you want to add more character, consider adding crown molding or chair railing.
We finished our conversation by asking John what he likes the most about working at Cardinal. His answer? Creating and strengthening relationships with contractors and homeowners. “It brings me a sense of accomplishment to see our customers satisfied when they complete their projects.”
Thank you for taking the time to talk with us, John! Visit our Madison store to speak with John about your next project, whether a weekend repair or more extensive renovation. You can Count on Cardinal.
