Meet Ally Moneymaker
From faux wood blinds and shutters to Roman shades, many bathroom window treatments offer just the right combination of light, durability, and privacy. Meet Ally, our Cardinal Home Center Blinds and Shades expert!
We sat down and chatted with Ally Moneymaker, who has worked at our Cardinal Home Center Charlottesville/Greenbrier location for over the last year and a half. Ally’s specialty is Hunter Douglas blinds and shades, but you may also spot her mixing Benjamin Moore paints occasionally.
We asked Ally to share with us if blinds and shades are bathroom-worthy. That is, will they hold up to the humidity that bathrooms tend to dish out? “Yes, all of Hunter Douglas’ treatments are custom to your window. We sell multiple different looks and styles that can work in any bathroom,” added Ally. “One popular style would be the Palm Beach Polysatin shutters or Everwood, faux wood blinds. They are going to hold up very well to the moisture and humidity and still set off a stylish look.”
Ally came to Cardinal Home Center after working in childcare. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pups. Her hobbies include crafting, gardening, and landscaping.
After we thanked Ally for her time, we asked her what she enjoyed most about working at Cardinal. “I enjoy many things while working at Cardinal Home Center, but my top two would be working with so many great employees daily and meeting new people.”
Plan a visit to our Charlottesville/Greenbrier location, and Ally can answer all your blind and shade questions. Thanks, Ally; we’re glad to have you on our Cardinal team.
